How this website handles personal data. Last updated 29 September 2026.
Who is responsible
PivotAI.AI Ltd, trading as Pivot.AI, is the data controller for information submitted through this website. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 17384510, and our registered office is 98 Park Road, Manchester, M25 0DY. You can reach us at contact@pivotai.co.uk.
What we collect
This site collects personal data in one place only, which is the enquiry form on the contact page. When you submit it, we receive the name you give, your email address, the project type you select, and the message you write. You do not have to give us these details, but we need your name, email address and message to be able to reply.
We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, or third party embeds anywhere on this site. We set no cookies. The site stores a single flag in your browser (session storage) so the opening animation does not replay on every page. It contains no identifier, it is not readable by anyone else, and it is cleared when you close the tab.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
We use enquiry details solely to reply to you and to discuss the work you asked about. The lawful basis is legitimate interests, because you contacted us about a possible project and expect a response. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell or share them for anyone else’s purposes. No decisions about you are made by automated means.
Who else can see it
Two providers help us run this website and our email, and they only handle your details on our instructions. Netlify hosts this website and receives enquiry form submissions. Google Workspace provides our email, so enquiries passed on to us, and any message you send to contact@pivotai.co.uk, are stored there. We do not share your details with anyone else. If that changes, this notice changes with it.
Where your data is stored
Netlify and Google are based in the United States, so your details may be stored or processed outside the UK. When that happens, the transfer is covered by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK Extension to the Data Privacy Framework or approved contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, so we have context if you come back to us. After that they are deleted. If an enquiry becomes a project, the related records are kept under that project’s own agreement instead.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask for it in a portable format, or object to how we are using it. Email contact@pivotai.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, tell us first. Email contact@pivotai.co.uk with “Data protection complaint” in the subject line. We will acknowledge it within 30 days and tell you what we are doing about it.
If you are still unhappy, you can raise it with the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk. You can go to the ICO at any time, but raising it with us first is usually quicker.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. We hold no accounts, no passwords and no payment details, because this site has none of those features. Security issues can be reported to contact@pivotai.co.uk.
